In the heart of Brittany, the Baie d'Audierne is renowned for its beauty as well as for the quality of its waves. Its geographical configuration at the tip of Finistère allows it to ideally capture the swell allowing us to practice surfing 365 days a year.
The beach of Tronoën, where the lessons take place, is located a few kilometers north of the Pointe de la Torche in the middle of a wild and preserved nature, which makes it an ideal place for learning and practicing surfing.
It's in this privileged setting that we offer you to surf. The experience of the instructors associated with the wide range of spots and orientations allows us to always find the waves adapted to your level of practice.
Longtime friends and sharing the same passion for surfing and the ocean, Germain Romigou and Gaëtan Duque, the instructors, are graduates of the State Surfing Certificate as well as the National Security and Sea Rescue Certificate. Former national competitors and rich of more than 20 years of practice, they will be at your disposal to ensure your safety as well as your progress.
Lessons are given in French or English.
Zephyr Surf School is a school concerned about respecting the environment and the evolution of surfing in the future. This is why, faced with the growing number of surfers, we put at the center of our teaching, respect for our framework of practice as well as its local actors. The collection of waste on the beach, the protection of the dunes and its fauna as well as the learning of the rules of priority and conviviality in the water are the central values of our teaching.
Practicing with quality equipment allows you to put all the chances on your side to progress. This is why we provide our students with a wide range of safe foam boards for beginners and intermediate surfers, but also a whole range of resin boards for more experienced surfers wishing to evolve in their personal practice.
En haute saison, nous sommes basés sur la plage de Tronoën, à quelque pas de la Pointe de La Torche : l'un des spots les plus exposé à la houle, nous permettant de pratiquer tous les jours meme lorsque les conditions sont trop petites ailleurs.
En hors-saison nous sommes itinérants. Nous ajustons l'heure et le lieu auxquels se déroulent les cours en fonction des conditions de vent et de vagues, ainsi qu'en fonction de la marée et des horaires de haute affluence. L'objectif est de trouver le spot le plus adapté à votre niveau de pratique. Nous serons ainsi amenés à nous déplacer sur tous les spots du Pays Bigouden et de la Baie d'Audierne.
